Miles for Melanoma 5K in Washington, DC is a family-friendly run/walk that brings together melanoma patients, survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals and community supporters to raise funds and awareness in the fight against skin cancer. Hosted by the Melanoma Research Foundation, this annual 5K at Yards Park combines a timed run with a casual walk, educational resources about prevention and early detection, and opportunities to honor and remember those affected by melanoma while supporting critical research, patient programs and advocacy efforts.
