The free Navy Yard Summer Concert Series is BACK at the Yards Park boardwalk! Come to Yards Park to relax and enjoy the river view, fantastic bands, food and beverage, and a large variety of great restaurants within a few minutes walk from the park. Family-friendly lyrics and grassy open space make this an enjoyable event for adults and kids alike.

About Strummin & Drummin:

‍Strummin & Drummin, led by percussionist Philippe de Pontet together with Adam Applebaum on guitar and vocals, will get the party started right. With a repertoire of about 1,000 songs spread out across many genres, this duo can play it all, blending soul, R&B, pop, light rock and dance music—it’s got something for everyone.Philippe has 3 decades of performance experience in the DMV region and his groovy hand percussion brings a special rhythmic pulse that will have audience members feeling the beat and tapping their feet (if not heading to the dance floor).

SALTY takes the stage for the Friday Night Concert Series at Yards Park, delivering a high-energy performance along the waterfront. This special July 3 show doubles as the official release party for their new single, “Ibiza Skies,” dropping on all streaming platforms that same day.

With deep roots in Prince George’s County, Little Bacon Bear is one of the region’s most dynamic voices in music and culture. Known for her work on 93.9 WKYS, she has been a driving force in amplifying both local and national artists since beginning her radio career in 2017.
