As the leaves turn and the days get shorter, Navy Yard comes alive with events that bring the neighborhood together. From outdoor movie nights to pumpkin decorating, and seasonal festivals, there's something happening nearly every week this fall.
We hope these events connect the community, engage with residents, and give neighbors a reason to gather for a fun evening after work whether you live in the neighborhood, work nearby, or are visiting from out of town, we want everyone to feel welcome in this vibrant, buzzing neighborhood.

Grab a blanket and settle in under the stars for free, family-friendly Halloween screenings in Yards Park and Audi Field. Bring a picnic or pick up a bite from a nearby neighborhood favorite, then watch the riverfront turn into an outdoor cinema for a spooky night.

van ness fall festival & pumpkins in the park
This year, the Navy Yard BID is partnering with Van Ness Elementary School to expand their annual Fall Festival to the whole community, combining it with our annual Pumpkins in the Park event.
Enjoy family friendly music, carnival games and prizes, crafts, a bake sale, and pick-your-own pumpkins for decorating. Admission is free, and food and tickets will be available onsite. Bring the whole family and celebrate the season with your neighbors!
